Candace Moffitt, 7th Grade Assistant Principal

Candace Moffitt, 7th grade administrator, has been a stalwart in Irving ISD for four years as a 6th/7th grade ELAR educator, PLC Lead, ELAR Department Chair, and New Teacher Mentor Coordinator among other roles. She now serves as Administrative Liaison and LEAP Cohort 4 member. Prior to being an educational influencer in Irving, Moffitt was a trailblazer in Dallas ISD as a 7th grade ELAR instructor, team lead, and curriculum writer.

Moffitt holds a bachelor’s degree in Juvenile Justice and Communication from The University of Texas at San Antonio, a master’s degree in Educational Leadership/Digital Leading and Learning, and Principal as Instructional Leader from Lamar University.
