The national Elementary Honor Society (NEHS) is a school based program recognizing outstanding elementary students in grades four through six and engaging them in the meaningful development of leadership skills and a personal understanding of the value of service.
The NEHS chapter at our school connects us to a national network of those committed to awakening all young people to the many opportunities available to those who commit to excellence.
The NEHS chapter at Britain Elementary provides two unique opportunities:
- National recognition
- Opportunities for students to be engaged in local chapter activities
The NEHS activities promote Scholarship, Responsibility, Leadership, and Service as important values for all young people.
