It's time to celebrate our teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week!

Our theme this year is "What do teachers make? Everything!" They make chefs, scientists, bankers, doctors, carpenters, mechanics and more!

To honor them, Irving ISD is turning every weekday into a special tribute to them.

Tuesday, May 4: Student Appreciation. Read a letter from a student sharing appreciation for teachers.

Wednesday, May 5: Thank a Teacher Day! Download the thank-you teacher sign, write a quick message and post on social. See below for instructions. 

Thursday, May 6: Superheroes! Learn how teachers have superpowers. 

Friday, May 7: Showing off the hard work of our teachers on social media. Tweet something nice about your favorite teacher! Feel free to share or retweet!
