Tracy Gonzales, Principal
Tracy Gonzales joined our campus in February 2017. She comes to us from Dallas ISD with 25 years in education. Mrs. Gonzales has served as a classroom teacher, Instructional Coach, Principal Fellow, and Assistant Principal. She loves working with students, teachers, and the community. Her educational credentials include a Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies from UT Arlington and a Masters in Educational Leadership from UT Tyler. She believes that we are all born with great potential and that it is up to each of us to activate and encourage one another to our greatest potential. Always growing and learning.
Norma Yi, Assistant Principal
Norma Yi is excited to rejoin the Pierce Early Childhood School Family. She began her career with Irving ISD as a Bilingual Prekindergarten Teacher at Pierce. Then, she moved to Gilbert Elementary where she first served as a Reading Interventionist for grades Kindergarten through 2nd and then as the Academic Specialist for grades Kindergarten through 5th. Mrs. Yi holds a master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington. She is passionate about early childhood education. She believes that all children have the capacity to learn and grow when given the right tools. She is happy to be serving the Pierce ECS Pandas as Assistant Principal.
