Julio Pérez joined Irving High at the beginning of the 2017 – 2018 school year after working in Dallas ISD for four years. Mr. Pérez started his career as a Social Studies teacher at Owen Goodnight Junior High in San Marcos, Texas. Mr. Pérez is starting his 24th year education. He has served as a Social Studies teacher in San Marcos and Arlington, Texas, as well as a Campus Administrator in Arlington and Dallas.
Mr. Pérez is enthusiastic and committed to serving the students at Irving High School. He looks forward to building strong relationships with the staff, faculty, parents and most importantly students of Irving High. Mr. Pérez’s ultimate goal is to make the students college, career and life ready, so that they can have the opportunity to successfully pursue their dreams.
Mr. Pérez earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He earned his master’s degree in Educational Administration from Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth.
