    2-1-1 is a program of the Texas Health and Human Services Commission that is committed to helping Texas citizens connect with the services they need.  Individuals can click on the link provided and enter their zip code as well as current need (i.e.: utility bill assistance, food pantry, etc.).  They will then be provided with a list of agencies in the area that can provide for their needs.  Click here for the 2-1-1 website

    Irving Police Athletic League (PAL) offers free “family-centered" recreational and athletic programs for children between the ages of 7 - 18.  Students can participate in Boxing, Wrestling, Tennis, Outdoor Education as well as a Fitness Class. They even have a summer program for Basketball called Summer Hoops!

    The classes are a lot of fun, and a great support to parents teaching the next generation about trust, relationship, accountability, influence and life skills.
