• Bianca Johnson, Principal

    Bianca Johnson is proud to serve in a new capacity as the leader of Crockett Middle School after four years as assistant principal. Her commitment to the Irving ISD community is evident by the fact that all of her educational career have been right here. She believes that all students deserve equitable access to educational opportunities and it is our responsibility as educators to ensure that all means all.

    Principal Johnson grew up in Katy, Texas. She attended Texas A&M University in College Station, where she received her BS in Industrial Distribution in 2007. After working for Neiman Marcus as a buyer, she decided to follow her passion and make the transition to education in 2009. She began working  for Irving ISD here at Crockett Middle School as an 8th grade math teacher. She moved to open Lady Bird Johnson Middle School where she continued to teach 8th grade math as well as serve the math department chair. While there, she also began to pursue on her M.Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction at UTA. She was promoted to the Dean of Students at Crockett Middle School and then Administrative Liaison at Travis Middle School before returning home to Crockett Middle School as an Assistant Principal.

    In her free time, Ms. Johnson enjoys cheering for her favorite sports teams the Dallas Mavericks, Texas A&M Aggies and the New Orleans Saints.

  • Jeremiah Fincher, Assistant Principal

     

    Jeremiah Fincher graduated in 2010 from Texas Tech University with a degree in Multidisciplinary studies with a focus on ELAR and Social Studies. He graduated in 2018 from Lamar University with his Masters degree in Educational Administration.

    He immediately began his teaching career with Irving ISD at Lamar Middle School and then was part of the staff that opened Lady Bird Johnson Middle School. He began his education career in 2010 working in Irving ISD and Coppell ISD, where he taught English, writing, Texas History, US History, PE and coached football, basketball, and track.

    He is passionate about helping students learn and find success that they can build on beyond their middle school years. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing in recreational sports leagues, and cheering for the Texas Rangers and the Red Raiders. He is excited to be a part of the Crockett community!

  • Jacqueline Desperoux, Assistant Principal

     

    Jacqueline Desperoux was born in Cap-Haitien, Haiti and raised in Miami, FL. She received a BA in English, Sociology, and African American Studies from the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL, and a M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Texas in Austin, TX.  

    She began her career as a Reading Interventionist for Miami Dade County Public Schools, followed by teaching English 1 in San Antonio, TX for North East ISD, as well as Speech in Margate, FL for Broward County Public Schools.  

    Since joining the Irving family, she has served as Dean of Students at Jack E. Singley Academy and ELAR Interventionist at Crockett Middle School. Ms. Desperoux is elated to now serve the family that is Crockett Middle School as the Administrative Liaison.   

    Ms. Desperoux is a lover of poetry with her favorite poets being Richard Bruce Nugent, Langston Hughes, Warsan Shire, and Danez Smith.
